The SOFTSWISS Digital Content Team is hiring a part-time or full-time Copy Editor/Proofreader to join our B2B Marketing Team. We are a group of non-native English speakers with some accolades and experience in using the language professionally. Given the current workload, we are looking to expand our team to delegate these duties to a dedicated team member.

If you have previously worked in a similar role and are familiar with IT and/or iGaming, you are the person we are looking for. We would love to see a native English speaker or a certified professional join our team to take over proofreading and editorial duties.

Responsibilities:

• Proofread copy written by people of varied fluency in English
• Manage and adhere to the SOFTSWISS Communications and Copy Style Guidelines
• Make minor edits and suggestions to written content
• Manage localization of copy with translation agencies
• Educate team members on best practices when it comes to using English for business
• Work closely with the Digital Marketing, Brand Marketing, and Employer brand teams on cross-department tasks

Requirements:

• English: Advanced or Proficiency (C1-2, CELTA, TOEFL, IELTS)
• Knowledge of Spanish, German, Polish, Portuguese, Russian is a big plus
• Prior track record in IT or solid understanding of software development or iGaming
• Bachelor’s and or master’s degree in journalism, linguistics, literature, teaching OR proof of relevant experience in a similar position or company
• Savvy computer user
