Role overview

The ability for SOFTSWISS to continue to operate a fast and effective service is underpinned by the scale and performance of the technology products. We are building a new tier for leadership with the technical team. Reporting to the CTO, the Deputy CTO will define and lead a functional area within the architecture team across several products. This role will also be a core part of the engineering leadership team driving the overall technology strategy, will jointly provide leadership across all aspects of engineering and technology. To be successful in the role and thrive at SOFTSWISS, you must display pragmatism and situational awareness, an iterative approach to products and the organization, and an ability to deal with an unstructured and ambiguous environment, and simply be someone who gets things done.

Key responsibilities

  • Translate business goals into technology strategy
  • Drive innovation to ensure the technology stack can support all current and future product needs
  • Build, manage and mentor architect team, being accountable for deliverables
  • Participate in talent acquisition of key technologists
  • Manage knowledge development & sharing across the organization

Key requirements

  • Solid knowledge in modern software development technologies, platforms, and tools
  • Software/Solution Architect experience in data-intensive projects
  • Experience in senior/c-level technical leadership roles
  • Ability to influence and lead without direct line accountability
  • Technological curiosity and constant learning
