The ideal candidate will be reporting to Business Development Lead and he/she will be Finteqhub’s local representative in Malta while being responsible for acquiring merchants in the Gaming and High-Risk sector, collaborating with the Head of office functions to monitor and grow the Finteqhub’s consumer user base.

Main Responsibilities:

  • active research for the new potential clients for the payments platform
  • contacting, introducing, and establishing relationships with potential clients for the payments platform
  • generating a strong pipeline of leads through its network
  • leading and engaging in negotiations
  • boarding new merchants and monitoring the process to make sure it’s done in a timely manner
  • closing the deals, after-sales service
  • active and thorough research plus the introduction of potential acquirers, gateways, freelancers, and other parties that might be relevant for business development
  • payment product platform quality assurance – gathering the feedback on the product and project management for tech changes within the product (if requested by client) – active dealing with incoming internal requests from SOFTSWISS current clients in regards to new payment markets and methods
  • active, ongoing, weekly research on competition in terms of other online casinos operating in our main geo’s but also other payment gateways with a similar offering
  • attending shows, events, conferences, summits, networking events
  • staying aligned with internal company procedures – CRM updates, building new procedures
  • active and ongoing research on new payment regulations and procedures in several jurisdictions –immediately

Crucial Skills:

  • Fluent in English
  • Malta-based (optional)
  • Strong interest in the Fintech industry
  • Experienced in establishing and maintaining strong business relationships
  • Experience in the iGaming industry is welcomed
  • In-Depth negotiation skills
