Role overview

Reporting to the Deputy CTO, the Compliance Manager will play an essential role in supporting the business in the regulated jurisdictions (Malta, Curacao and others). As the main point of contact for stakeholders in the Customer Operations, Commercial, Product and Technology Teams, the successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring SOFTSWISS’ products are compliant with local regulations and requirements. The Compliance Manager will be responsible for advising on product launches including licensing requirements, new features or enhancements, new games integrations, regulatory reporting requirements and dealing with day-to-day queries relating to our business operations in the regulated jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

  • Point of Contact: Being the main point of contact with the regulator and within SOFTSWISS for any questions and issues relating to the regulatory compliance operation in the regulated jurisdictions and resolving any of these issues to the satisfaction of both parties.
  • Governance: Ensuring that SOFTSWISS is compliant with all the regulatory requirements set forth by the relevant authorities.
  • Implementation of Policies & Procedures: Developing and implementing policies and procedures throughout SOFTSWISS to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analysis: Verifying that product specifications are consistent with the regulatory requirements for the relevant jurisdictions.
  • Problem Solving: Identifying innovative solutions to compliance issues and socializing these potential solutions within SOFTSWISS for possible improvement prior to discussing with external parties.
  • You will be responsible for actively managing the relationship between the operational side of the business and SOFTSWISS’ regulators.
  • Internal operational working relationships include: Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Product, Technology and Operational Teams.
  • External operational working relationships include: Regulators, external legal advisors, and third party product or software providers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Compliance, Internal Control, Internal Audit, or a related area.
  • Fluent English.
  • Experience with gambling products, gambling companies or regulators.
  • At least degree qualified in management, business, technical or legal subject.
  • Experience with remote gambling companies or regulatory bodies.
