Overview:
SOFTSWISS is hiring a Frontend Developer (React + HTML/CSS) to join our team. We are looking for a specialist who will contribute to the redesign, customization, and further development of our existing products.
Purpose of the role:
You will work on existing React-based products, implementing new designs and functionality, improving user experience, and collaborating closely with designers, QA engineers, and other development teams. A significant part of the role is focused on high-quality frontend layout and UI implementation, so strong HTML and CSS skills are essential.
Approximately 50% of the role is focused on HTML/CSS and UI implementation.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain React-based projects
- Implement responsive, high-quality user interfaces based on Figma designs
- Work on redesigns and customization of existing products
- Develop reusable frontend components and improve existing solutions
- Ensure UI quality, usability, and consistency across devices and browsers
- Participate in task estimation, technical discussions, and code reviews
- Collaborate with designers, QA engineers, product, and other development teams
- Investigate and resolve frontend issues in existing projects
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of frontend development processes and internal products
Required Experience:
- 2–3+ years of commercial Frontend development experience
- Strong HTML5 and CSS/SCSS skills
- Experience building responsive and adaptive layouts with high attention to design details
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+)
- Commercial experience with React and React Hooks
- Good understanding of component-based architecture and reusable UI development
- Experience working with Figma
- Ability to understand and work with an existing codebase
- Ability to estimate development tasks and take ownership of their delivery
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
- Fluent Russian, both written and spoken
Nice to have:
- Experience working on multiple projects or products simultaneously
- Experience with code reviews
- Experience investigating and resolving frontend performance or cross-browser issues
- Experience working in a product company or with white-label products
