Overview:
SOFTSWISS is looking for a proactive and creative Legal Officer with experience in the iGaming industry. This is a great opportunity for a growing legal professional with a passion for innovation, strong analytical thinking, and experience in international legal environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Reviewing and negotiating client amendments in service agreements, addenda, termination notices, NDAs, and other legal documents
- Drafting: Creating custom legal documents in English to support specific business needs of the clients
- Templates: Maintaining and updating internal contract templates to ensure they remain current and legally robust
- Compliance & KYC: Handling Due Diligence and KYC checks, including using specialized tools like World-Check
- Legal Support: Providing legal support to Account Management and Business Development teams on contract structuring, entity selection, and termination strategies
- Regulatory Research: Researching gambling laws and licensing rules in different countries for new market entries
- Debt Collection: Drafting formal demand letters and managing the pre-trial process for unpaid invoices
Required Experience:
- Higher education in Law, Compliance, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant work experience within iGaming companies
- A sharp legal mind with a structured yet creative approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- English proficiency – at least B2+ level (both written and spoken)
- Knowledge of Russian is a plus
