Overview:
We’re hiring a Senior SEO Specialist to join our Digital Marketing team. You’ll work on optimizing our websites, content, and online presence, contributing to our continued growth and visibility in search engines and driving impactful digital results across our markets.
Purpose of the role:
You will be responsible for driving the company’s SEO strategy by improving website performance, optimizing content, and increasing organic search visibility. Your work will support business growth, enhance user experience, and provide actionable insights for cross-functional teams, ensuring our digital presence remains competitive and data-driven.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducts in-depth technical SEO audits: crawling, indexing, site speed, mobile usability, structured data
- Performs keyword research, cluster mapping and content topic research
- Creates SEO briefs for copywriters based on topical, keywords and SERP analysis
- Conducts site evaluations on demands: media, competitors, link placement sites etc.
- Reviews competitor site profiles for competitor intelligence, insights, and opportunities
- Assigns tasks to web developers for site adjustments and setting – Develop link-building strategy in coordination with Linkbuilder and define anchor texts
- Sets up tasks for link building
- Plans site structure for new and ongoing site projects – Internal linking strategy
- Maintains company’s Google Business Profiles
- Conducts ad-hoc SEO research on demand
- Monitor and analyse Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and third-party tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SE Ranking, etc.)
- Contribute to SEO documentation, SOPs, and knowledge sharing
- Creates SEO reports to share with team and department
- Monitors key Google updates and keeps the team informed about upcoming changes, plans, risks
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years in SEO
- Proficiency in English (B1 and higher)
- Proficiency in Russian (B1 and higher)
- Advanced understanding of SEO and SEM principles
- Intermediate-advanced project management skills
- Digital tools: email and writing (Google Workspace), SEO tools (Semrush, Ahrefs, SE Ranking, MOZ, Surfer, other), project management tools (Jira, Asana, Trello etc), data and analytics tools (GA4, Yandex Metrics, Bing Console, Looker, Google Search Console etc.), Google Ads, HTML
Nice to have:
- Appropriate SEO certification
- Knowledge of WordPress
- Knowledge of ChatGPT/Generative Search Experience
