Purpose of the role:
We are looking for a QA Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our corporate websites, landing pages, and other web projects. The primary focus of this role is functional testing, UI quality assurance, integration testing, and maintaining the overall technical quality of WordPress-based websites.
Key responsibilities:
- Functional Testing of Web Projects: validate user journeys, navigation, CTA buttons, and web forms.
- Test search functionality, filters, sorting, and other interactive elements.
- Perform smoke and regression testing before releases.
- UI/UX and Cross-Browser Testing: verify that implemented pages match design specifications in Figma.
- Test website rendering across different browsers and devices.
- Ensure content updates made by the content team are displayed correctly without breaking layouts or functionality.
- Integration and Web Platform Quality Assurance: test integrations with CRM systems, analytics platforms, and email services.
- Verify data transmission, user flows, redirects, and conversion tracking logic.
- Perform basic website performance checks using Lighthouse and browser DevTools.
- SEO and WordPress QA: validate technical SEO elements, including metadata, structured data, indexing settings, and redirects.
- Test content and functionality across WordPress websites.
- Ensure the proper operation of custom components, forms, and the WordPress admin panel.
Required Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in manual testing of web projects.
- Experience testing WordPress-based websites.
- Understanding of modern web application architecture and workflows.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Experience with cross-browser and responsive testing.
- Strong proficiency with browser DevTools.
- Experience working with Jira, Figma, and Postman.
- Experience creating and maintaining test cases, checklists, and regression test suites.
- Ability to document and report defects clearly, including reproduction steps, expected results, and actual results.
- English and Russian proficiency at an upper-intermediate level (B2+)
Nice to have:
- Experience with BrowserStack.
- Familiarity with Screaming Frog and Google Search Console.
- Understanding of Core Web Vitals and technical SEO principles.
- Interest in leveraging AI tools to improve QA processes and automate routine testing tasks. Tools Jira, DevTools, Figma, Postman, BrowserStack, Lighthouse, TestRail.
