Overview:
SOFTSWISS is hiring L3 Support Engineer to join our IT Support Department.
We need a true, experienced, and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values.
Purpose of the role:
You will be able to work with cutting-edge technologies in servers, networks, and cloud platforms, building robust and scalable solutions for our global business needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintenance and development of hybrid server infrastructure
- Maintenance of active network equipment (including cloud-based communication channels), office network development
- Diagnostics and solution of hardware and software problems of office infrastructure, including cloud-based
- RnD and implementation of new services
- Maintenance of technical documentation in the Knowledge Base
- Creation, configuration and implementation of different kind of automations
Also, you will be able:
- Participation in accounting and inventory of equipment (in terms of infrastructure)
- Diagnosis and solution of hardware and software problems of company employees
Required Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience at companies with 100+ employees and distributed offices\partially or fully remote , of which at least 2 years with specialised systems (Windows Server, Linux server, VMware, etc.)
- Expert knowledge of modern operating systems MS Windows Server. Understanding the security principles of MS Windows operating systems
- Expert knowledge of MS Active Directory (backup and recovery, FSMO replication in details, group policies, collisions and debug)
- Basic Linux experience – system management, reverse proxy management, cert management
- Practical experience in implementation and industrial virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, and/or equivalents). P2V\V2V migration, clustering
- Network experience at least at level Mikrotik MTCRE\Cisco CCNP:
- Firewall deep understanding (chains, mangle)
- VPN technology (Site-to-Site solutions, wireguard, L2 VPN)
- WiFi solutions (Ubiquiti, UNMS)
- Experience with Cloud Services (Azure\Google\Hetzner)
- SSO Experience (Entra ID\GW\OKTA, OIDC\SAML\SCIM)
- Scripting languages (python\powershell\bash) – daily routine automation, work with API of different services
- Docker management and understanding containerisation
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab CI, Github Actions, etc). Understanding how to work with GIT
- English B1+ (be able to participate in meetings with vendors tech support and sale\presale managers)
- Russian B2+
Nice to have:
- Experience in on-premise-cloud and vice versa migration
- Experience with MDM systems (Intune, Kandji, ABM, etc.)
- Experience with Windows 365 and macOS
- Experience with Jira/Confluence would be a plus
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code practices and tools (e.g., Ansible, Kubernetes)
