Overview:
SOFTSWISS is hiring a Junior Technical Operations Manager to join our PSP Operations Team. You’ll act as a key point of contact for resolving transaction and payment-related issues, rolling out custom payment method setups, and analyzing recurring problems to drive improvements.
Purpose of the Role:
You’ll combine technical expertise in payment systems with operational oversight to enhance client experience, ensure accurate transaction processing, and support the continuous optimization of payment workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to technical requests from first-line support regarding transactions and payment methods.
- Roll out custom payment method configurations for new clients on their websites.
- Troubleshoot payment and transaction issues.
- Ensure payment systems operate efficiently.
- Interact with payment systems.
- Analyse recurring payment problems and report findings.
- Work with other teams, including second-line support, Finance, Account Managers, and B2C.
Required Experience:
- Experience in the fintech or payments industry as an Operations Manager/B2B technical support (2nd line).
- Clear understanding of how payment systems function.
- Knowledge of transaction flows.
- Basic understanding of web architecture.
- Higher or incomplete higher education, preferably technical.
- English – Upper-Intermediate or higher.
- Russian – Native.
- Basic programming knowledge (data types/ operators/ functions).
Nice to Have:
- Experience with JIRA, Jenkins, GitLab.
- Experience with monitoring systems (ELK).
- Understanding of information and application security, SSH, and access credentials.
