SOFTSWISS continues to expand the team and is looking for Technical Writer. We need a true, experienced, and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values to join our team.
As a technical writer, you are going to deliver user guides, release notes, microcopy, and technical documentation including API docs-reference and conceptual parts.
Our tools: Docusaurus, Redocly, Swagger, Git, GitLab, VS Code, Mailchimp, Confluence, Jira.

Purpose of the role:
You’ll develop and maintain clear, structured documentation to support Technical Account Managers and internal teams, ensuring smooth onboarding processes and efficient knowledge sharing.
Your work will enhance the accuracy, accessibility, and consistency of our internal knowledge base, enabling Technical Account Managers to deliver exceptional client experiences.
Key responsibilities:
- Create, edit, and maintain procedural documentation including but not limited to user guides, how-tos and tutorials, FAQs, and glossaries
- Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation including but not limited to API documentation, description of configuration files
- Create release notes
- Create microcopy
- Work closely with writers, integration managers, developers, product owners, business analysts, QA team, and others
- Mentor other technical writers on best practices and processes
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in technical documentation
- Proven experience in writing user guides in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Style Guide, Google Developer Style Guide, or similar
- At least one year of experience in API writing, familiarity with API documentation tools
- English not lower than C1 and higher
- Russian not lower than C1 and higher
- Experience in writing release notes
- Experience in UX-writing
- Experience with Git
- Knowledge of any markup languages
- Proficiency with managing Confluence content
- Experience in writing and proofreading of content, especially technology-related content
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Critical thinking
- Proactiveness and initiative
- Must be a self-motivator who works well independently and in a team environment with little direct supervision
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people
Nice to have:
- Writing for gambling or fintech domains
- Ability to read and understand any programming language
- Example of user guides you’ve created
- Example of APIs you’ve created
