Overview
SOFTSWISS is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer to join our Security Team.
Purpose of the role
You’ll work on integrating and maintaining security capabilities throughout our software-delivery pipeline. You will partner with other engineers to automate security controls, strengthen overall security software development lifecycle, and enhance internal security tooling written in modern scripting and programming languages.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of Python-based security applications and scripts.
- Assist in integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, secret scanning, etc.).
- Automate security workflows and monitoring tasks.
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing security tooling and integrations.
- Collaborate with developers and operations teams to enforce approved security workflows.
Required Experience
- 3+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Security Engineer, or related roles.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Go, Bash, or similar).
- Experience embedding application and infrastructure security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with container, dependency, and secret-scanning concepts and tools.
- Good problem-solving skills, teamwork mindset, and eagerness to learn new security practices and tools.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Hands-on security work across multi-cloud environments and Infrastructure-as-Code workflows.
