Key responsibilities:
- Define Sprint Objectives – Set clear sprint objectives aligned with business needs and user requirements, forming the basis for sprint goals
- Review and Approve Product Increments – Inspect, validate, and approve development team deliverables at each iteration, from design preparation to production release
- Communicate Effectively with Stakeholders – Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring transparency and alignment on key decisions and strategies
- Backlog Management and Refinement – Prioritize, refine, and finalize backlog items with the team before sprint planning
- Create and Manage Change Requests – Gather, analyze, and prioritize operational changes, integrating them into the product backlog for future iterations
- Define Clear Acceptance Criteria – Establish well-defined acceptance criteria (A/C) for product features, validate them with stakeholders, and use them as a baseline for QA testing
- Maintain and Update Requirements – Adapt requirements dynamically throughout the project lifecycle while ensuring consistency across epics, stories, and technical specifications
- Own and Oversee Product Artifacts – Ensure high-quality documentation and management of epics, user stories, use cases, and edge cases
- Conduct Usability Testing – Test and validate user interfaces and interaction points, gathering insights to refine the product roadmap
- Manage API Requirements – Define, document, and test API integrations to ensure seamless interoperability with other services
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner or a similar role in an Agile environment
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proven experience in team management and collaboration
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Experience in writing user stories and managing the product backlog effectively
- Knowledge of APIs – ability to define and test API requirements
- Familiarity with UX research and usability testing
- Ability to analyze customer feedback and improve the product accordingly.
Nice to have:
- Experience in FinTech or E-commerce
- Knowledge of Data Analytics and A/B Testing
- Familiarity with SQL and BI tools
- Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps principles
