Overview:
SOFTSWISS is hiring a Technical Writer – Middle to join our Team.
You’ll work on a wide range of user and technical documentation, helping us deliver clear, useful, and well-structured content for internal and external audiences.
Purpose of the role:
- You’ll create and maintain accurate, easy-to-follow documentation to improve the usability and accessibility of our systems for diverse user groups
- Your work will impact the quality and consistency of technical communication across teams by delivering user-centric content and maintaining up-to-date knowledge bases
- You’ll support teams across product, development, and QA with clear documentation that bridges the gap between technical complexity and user clarity
Key responsibilities:
- Create, edit, and maintain user documentation such as guides, tutorials, and how-tos in procedural and explanatory styles
- Develop and update technical documentation, including API references using industry-standard tools and formats
- Write and publish release notes in collaboration with product and engineering teams
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, QA specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness
- Organise and manage content within Confluence to maintain a consistent and accessible documentation structure
Required Experience:
- Proficiency in both English (C1+) and Russian (C1+)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical writing or technical documentation roles
- Proven experience writing user-oriented content for different audiences, including end users and technical teams
- Familiarity with API documentation tools and experience in writing API documentation
- Solid understanding of style guides like the Microsoft Style Guide or Google Developer Documentation Style Guide
- Experience in writing release notes and maintaining structured documentation spaces (e.g. in Confluence)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while staying aligned with team goals and timelines
- Analytical thinking and strong attention to detail in both content and structure
Nice to have:
- Experience in the fintech or iGaming domains
- Portfolio samples such as user guides, API documentation, or release notes you’ve created
- Familiarity with modern documentation tooling and workflow
