As part of its comprehensive approach to corporate social responsibility, SOFTSWISS consistently balances global sustainability programs with impactful local initiatives. This time, the company has initiated a charity project to support local animal shelters in Poland, further solidifying its commitment to making a positive difference at both global and community levels.
Helping Animals
As part of this charity initiative, SOFTSWISS has set up special donation boxes in its Warsaw and Poznań offices to collect pet food and essential supplies for animal shelters. Within the first few months of the project, employees successfully gathered over 60 kilograms of food, which was delivered to shelters near Warsaw and Poznań.
Additionally, many SOFTSWISS employees took the time to visit these shelters, offering not only supplies but also companionship, care, and affection to the animals. They engaged with the animals through play and walks, while one team member from the Poznań office even adopted a cat they had been regularly providing food.
Katsiaryna Shved, Event Manager at SOFTSWISS, participated in the initiative in Warsaw and shared her experience: “This was a wonderful opportunity for me to help those who truly need it – the homeless animals. I am proud that our company actively supports the enthusiasm of its employees and creates such initiatives, which not only aid animals but also bring our team together around important social causes within our communities”.
The charity project has received enthusiastic employee support and will be expanded to all SOFTSWISS office locations. The company firmly believes that engaging employees in initiatives like these is essential to running a socially responsible business that addresses pressing societal issues.
Tree Planting Projects
The company has recently expanded its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) activities to include support for global and local initiatives focused on environmental protection, health, and charitable causes.
For instance, SOFTSWISS launched a significant charity campaign earlier this year to aid Brazil after severe flooding. In collaboration with the Warsaw Greenery Authority, the company also organised a reforestation effort on World Environment Day, planting nearly 800 plants in Morskie Oko Park in the Mokotów district.
In Tbilisi, eight majestic thuja trees now grace Seaside Park. SOFTSWISS employees and Dimitri Kipiani, SOFTSWISS Regional Director in Tbilisi, participated in the event in collaboration with the city’s municipality.
This ongoing commitment to environmental and social responsibility is a testament to SOFTSWISS’ dedication to positively impacting wherever it operates.
