SOFTSWISS has progressed to the next stage of its charitable campaign supporting the regions in Brazil affected by flooding. Earlier this year, in May, the company provided emergency financial aid for urgent needs, including the delivery of water, food, and clothing. SOFTSWISS also launched an awareness campaign, urging the iGaming community and media to join the charitable initiative. The company is now moving forward with its long-term goals to assist the affected regions.
Charity Moves Forward in Brazil
SOFTSWISS has already completed the installation of modern water purification systems in rural schools, providing access to clean water for more than 100 students and staff, as well as approximately 300 families from nearby areas. In collaboration with local authorities and supported by Rubens Barrichello, Non-Executive Director in Latin America at SOFTSWISS, further steps are being planned. Special attention is being given to the educational component: workshops will be held for students, teachers, and the local community on the importance of access to clean water and its impact on health.
New Water Systems for Schools
As part of its charitable activities, SOFTSWISS’ Polish offices focus significantly on informational and educational aspects. From 23 to 29 August, SOFTSWISS organised a summer camp at the Masurian Lakes for employees’ children from Warsaw and Poznań. A highlight of the camp was a special day focused on Brazil’s environmental challenges, including issues with access to clean drinking water.
The day featured workshops, hackathons, and informational lectures. Children also discussed the situation in the affected regions and compared it to the conditions in Poland. They also decorated 50 T-shirts, which will be sent to Brazilian schools as a sign of solidarity and support from the Polish SOFTSWISS team.
“We are pleased that SOFTSWISS in Poland is actively participating in this significant initiative. It underscores our commitment to supporting both local and global charitable projects. Our contribution to supporting Brazil reflects our dedication to corporate social responsibility and sustainable development principles. We aim for the company’s initiatives to bring about tangible positive changes in the world,” said Liudmila Glasunova, Chief Human Resource Officer at SOFTSWISS.
This initiative reaffirms SOFTSWISS’ commitment to a systematic and long-term strategy for supporting the regions where the company operates.
