Key responsibilities:
- Participate in the release process of new projects, custom features, and integrations to production.
- Execute manual testing of production-critical scenarios across multiple environments.
- Validate fixes, run health checks and smoke tests before and after production deployments.
- Analyze testing results, document findings, and communicate risks effectively.
- Maintain and improve test documentation (TestRail, Confluence, Jira).
- Monitor post-deployment behavior with the help of logs, metrics, and alerts (in collaboration with SRE/DevOps).
- Work closely with QA Automation Engineers to suggest areas for automation and improve coverage.
- Support regression testing of legacy and cross-team features.
- Ensure readiness of test environments and coordinate with technical teams where needed.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in manual testing of web-based platforms and backend systems.
- Good understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and SDLC practices.
- Experience in preparing and executing test cases, writing clear bug reports, and reproducing complex issues.
- Confident use of tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar for API validation.
- Solid skills in SQL for checking data consistency and verifying backend operations.
- Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with frequent releases and shifting priorities.
- Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, Confluence, and browser dev tools.
- Russian – native-level proficiency.
- English proficiency at B1+ level or higher.
Nice to have:
- Experience testing microservices, message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), or distributed systems.
- Exposure to Grafana or other monitoring tools.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test environment management.
- Knowledge of test automation basics or willingness to grow in that area.
- Familiarity with production incident workflows and root cause analysis.
- Understanding of version control and collaboration using Git and Git flow.
- Basic knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
