SOFTSWISS announces a strengthened global software development position within the IT sector. This achievement is attributed to an increase in the number of employees and the expansion of local development centres.
SOFTSWISS now employs more than 2,000 people worldwide, a 22% headcount increase from the previous year, with a gender ratio of approximately 50 to 50.
The company’s list of activities also includes support for global health initiatives for both men and women. The SOFTSWISS Team stands out in matters of gender equality in the iGaming sector.
March saw the grand opening of the new SOFTSWISS office in the prestigious business district of Warsaw.
This move further solidified SOFTSWISS’ presence in the IT hub of the capital, accommodating specialists from both software engineering and service departments.
Notably, the company held the official opening ceremony for the Poznan office in the new Nowy Rynek space.
Additionally, this year witnessed two outstanding off-site corporate events: the Dubai Fest and Values Fest in Antalya.
While distinctly different, both company events were equally unforgettable. On the one hand, the Dubai Fest exuded chic, brilliance, and a glamorous atmosphere reminiscent of the Great Gatsby movie.
On the other hand, the Values Fest in Antalya was marked by a friendly, warm, and nostalgic atmosphere, evoking memories of camp days from years ago. From the foam party to the white party and the cosy gathering, each event spoke for itself.
This year, SOFTSWISS made a move to further advance itself as a socially responsible brand. One such notable project was realised in the summer in Poland and Georgia. The idea consisted in uniting the local IT community of expats to help them adapt more easily to their new environment.
The result was the large-scale project ‘Intelligent City Walks by SOFTSWISS’, a series of interactive 2-hour walking tours covering Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk, Wroclaw, Poznan, Tbilisi, and Batumi throughout the summer.
More than 500 IT professionals, along with their families and friends, immersed themselves in the history and culture of major cities with the help of SOFTSWISS. The company looks forward to the next chapter of exploration.
SOFTSWISS partnered with Smart City Poznań to host an ecology-focused hackathon for students and aspiring IT specialists in Poznań. The challenge involved devising solutions for an online platform to sort household waste in the city.
SOFTSWISS’ commitment to environmental initiatives extended to active participation in World Cleanup Day, where employees collected over 50 bags of household waste from central Poznań.
In addition, during the summer, over 1,000 employees at SOFTSWISS participated in the internal Step Challenge to promote a healthy lifestyle.
SOFTSWISS employees also engaged in FRRuuu, Poland’s largest cycling event. This initiative promotes an active lifestyle among team members while contributing to environmental sustainability.
Following event rules, organisers plant one tree for each participant. A total of 32 SOFTSWISS employees joined the bike ride, collectively contributing to the creation of a future green alley.
Throughout 2023, the focus was on the health and happiness of the SOFTSWISS people. The company implemented a robust mental health program, ensuring that every member had access to the necessary support for their mental well-being. Over 500 employees have already benefited from this program.
In October, SOFTSWISS joined the global movement against breast cancer, Pink October. Employees had the opportunity to meet via an online steam with an oncologist-surgeon, a breast health specialist, and a member of the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), who spoke about the prevention of breast cancer. The company compensated the female part of the team for the cost of breast ultrasound examinations or mammography.
In November, SOFTSWISS supported the annual Movember campaign. Male employees from different departments took part in a challenge to grow moustaches and beards to draw attention to the problem of prostate cancer and mental well-being.
A competition for the number of steps taken, the MOVEmber Step challenge, resulted in collectively walking and running more than 12,000 km in a month. Additionally, all participants in the global event were able to get answers to their questions from a urologist-andrologist.
Industrial awards serve as significant recognition of SOFTSWISS’ unwavering dedication to excellence.
Throughout 2023, SOFTSWISS won 14 awards, including Crypto Company of the Year, Platform Provider of the Year, Brand IDOL of the Year, B2B Marketing Campaign, Best Marketing Campaign, Customer Service Support of the Year, Best Customer Service, Affiliate Tracking Software of the Year, Malta’s Best Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, Best Affiliate Marketing Solution, and Best Sports Betting Provider in the Baltics.
SOFTSWISS takes pride in sharing its extensive industry knowledge and expertise. This commitment goes beyond conventional boundaries. This year alone SOFTSWISS Team members participated in 90 interviews, over 100 articles, 14 public speaking engagements, 5 podcasts, and 6 published ebooks.
Moreover, SOFTSWISS was a dynamic force of transformation, illuminating more than 25 industry and iGaming events with its presence, including the VIP party ‘ROCK THIS CITY’ in Amsterdam and the ‘FIRE & ICE’ party in London.
“We are proud that this year we managed to make our mark in the IT sector not only through the development of innovative products but also by presenting ourselves as a brand that supports global social initiatives, thereby following our values and caring for our employees. People are the basis of our success, and primarily thanks to them, we are able to show such rapid growth and think about further development. Applicants see us as a reliable international IT company and strive to become part of our team. This means that we are moving in the right direction and will continue to strengthen our position in the local market, including through local specialists,” says Maciej Wieczorek, Regional Director of SOFTSWISS in Poland.
